Teaching an undergrad seminar on epi-/pandemics this semester
So, my (non-tenured) tenure at the University of Oldenburg will officially start next week, but the semester has already started (even though the beginning of the term has been delayed due to ... well, you know why). Since I can't access the LMS used at the university yet (and, apparently, I am not allowed to use a home-made alternative), my students will have to wait a little longer. Of course, when I was asked two weeks ago what I was gonna teach in the spring, I couldn't resist but opt for a course on epidemics and pandemics in American literature and popular culture. Surprisingly, I've decided to steer clear of zombie narratives.
